Confirmation Preparation

The Sacrament of Confirmation completes Christian initiation according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which is the official teaching of our Church. Confirmation unites us more firmly to Jesus Christ. Confirmation increases the gifts of the Holy Spirit within us. Confirmation renders our bond with the church more perfect. Confirmation gives us a special strength of the Holy Spiit to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ.

Candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation should prayerfully consider whether they are ready to begin the preparation for this Sacrament. One should not be Confirmed simply because one's freinds are being Confirmed. 

For grade 7 & 8's who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation our Mandatory Registration Meeting will take place on Saturday, November 29th at 10:00am. Please print  and fill out the Confirmation Registration form below and bring it with you to the meeting on November 29th. Only parents need to attend this information meeting.

*Baptism is a pre-requisite for Confirmation, so a Catholic Baptismal Certificate will be required, as well as $50 to cover progam resources. Please note that incomplete packages will not be accepted.
